点と点とが出会うことで、時として発想の転換を引き起こし、
世紀の大発見につながることもある。
線、つながりが、次の時代への期待を膨らませ、新しい時代を創り上げるキッカケとなる。
私は作品を創ることで、世界を披いてゆく誰かが世界を豊かにする新しいアイデアを引き出すことを応援したい。
Lines
An encounter of a point to the other point sometime causes a great discovery.
The combination of a point and the other point is a metaphor of the combination of an idea and the other idea.
I wish that my works become good pegs to new ideas of somebody who leads the future.
墨は、私にとって、魅力的で神秘的な存在です。
墨の原料は、すす（黒色）とニカワ（バインダー）と香料。
すすは油の不完全燃焼から生まれます。ちゃんと燃えていれば二酸化炭素に成れたはずなのに、なれなかった残り。
すすだけだったら、モノに定着せず、擦れば消えてしまう存在。
ニカワは動物由来のタンパク質。
ニカワだけだったら、ただ腐ちてゆく存在。
燃え残りと腐りやすいモノとが混ざって
数千年先の人にも見てもらえるものになるかもしれない緊張感。
にじみ、かすれ、色ムラもコントロールしきれない不思議。
Japanese ink is attractive and mysterious for me.
The raw materials of Japanese ink are soot (black) and Nikawa (binder) and fragrance.
The soot comes out of incomplete combustion of rape oil.
The soot is the leftover which couldn't become carbon dioxide.
It can be easy taken off if it is not mixed with glue or binder.
Its glue is Nikawa ,protein of animal.
It can be spoiled without any preservation.
The leftover and the spoilable thing are mixed.
And They can survive more than thousand years.
I cannot fully control all of phenomenon which came from Japanese ink ,because they are very delicate.
The beauty of my art is found in a balance of artificiality and unintentional phenomenon.
